After graduating from college with a degree in marketing Dr. Cobb worked in human medical sales for laparoscopic surgical instruments.
She spent her days in hospitals observing surgeries and found she enjoyed the field of medicine. At the same time she got her first puppy, Miles, which became the companion of a lifetime! Being exposed to veterinary medicine through her new puppy visits made her realize she was even more intrigued by veterinary medicine than human medicine. She proceeded to resign from a career in human medical sales to pursue her new found passion for veterinary medicine.
Dr. Cobb graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. She immediately moved to Birmingham to marry her husband, Jason, who grew up here. Dr. Cobb loves being able to meet new people and their pets every day! She especially enjoys dermatology and teaching first time pet parents how to care for their new babies. Dr. Cobb found her purpose in veterinary medicine and considers it an honor to be a part of her patients and their parents’ lives.
