Dr. Walker grew up in Montgomery and Auburn and received her bachelor’s degree in Organismal Biology from Auburn University in 2020.
She then went on to attend veterinary school at Colorado State University where she was part of a program that had select students do the first two years of school at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks.
After being away from Alabama for a few years she decided to move to Birmingham where her family is now located. During vet school, Dr. Walker found her passion is in general practice working closely with owners and their pets. She is specifically interested in preventative care, emergency medicine, and orthopedic medicine and mobility, but enjoys all aspects of helping people and their pets.
In Dr. Walker's free time she enjoys long walks, reading, exploring, and spending time with her two dogs Hershey (GSP) and Hobbs (Golden Retriever).
